Phone is 'modified' (i guess rooted) and can't do updated please help me

Hi

I just bought a samsung galaxy note 2, i've looked around the forum & I know people have been talking about these problems but I dont really understand.

My phone has definitely been rooted, & it has on it 'superuser'
When I go to device information it tells me the phone is modified. And when I go to accept the software update it says I cannot update because the phone is modified,

Please please how can I fix this!!! Really need help. Tried factory restoring over and over makes no difference.

Also phone will pick up Edge signal but refuses to pick up 3G even though I'm 100& in a 3G area. I have chanced APN settings and network setting & it will pick up 3G but then won't pick up any Vodcam signal!!!

Please someone help me I'm so frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait...I did it!!!!!!! I disabled superuser and took away turned off rooting on the apps it had rooted and status has returned to normal!!! is currently doing the update woohoo!
