HELP: ATT logo freeze after OTA download; Odin didn't work

Friends,

I really need some help here - I have a At&t S3 that got a OTA upgrade couple of days back. After the upgrade the phone has started to freeze at the At&t logo and I can't get to the home screen at all.

I have read a number of forum pages and the things tried are -
> battery removed and reinserted
>kies (did not work)
> factory reset and cache cleared
>downloaded drivers but they did not load completely. I guess that is because I'm not able to get to the home screen (past the att logo)

>odin - gives the following error <ID:0/012> FAIL! (Auth) and on the phone i'm getting Fused 2 > Binary 0

I thought flashing the rom through odin should have worked, but no luck.

Please advice as I am having a very tough time without the phone.

Yes, the phone was unlocked...

Unlocked to go to another carrier, or root access?

Hi, I have the same problem. I unroot my phone, apply the OTA update, and my phone freezes at the AT&T logo and gets hot. kies doesn't work neither odin. I can't remember if my S3 had USB debugging enabled

You said it was rooted? Did you happen to flash a custom recovery?

Yes, I downloaded the flash file for my handset (~700+mb) and used odin for it, but no luck :!

I'm confused. Are you talking about the recovery file being 700+MB?
