    Doe anybody know what the pointy spiral like symbol is in the indicator bar is?

    It won't let me everything I try just keeps bringing up the key board.

    What phone do you have?

    It should be volume down + power button for a screen shot, if you are running Android 4.0 or later.

    Darth Spock explained above. We are here to help with these issues!

    If you aren't using it, you should probably turn it off so it doesn't use any battery power. I believe it is under the "connections" tab in the settings menu.

    Verizon Samsung Note II 4.4.2 OS not on lock screen but as soon as unlocked it there, I have two Notes II one has it the other doesn't, what is this notification ICON that looks like an overlaid N

    Your are correct NFC, went to connections settings turned off and now gone.
