Go pro 3+ media transfer to note 10.1 2014

[AC Question]

I just got a go pro 3+ and I can not find the settings that will allow me to transfer the data from the camera to the tablet over the cameras wi-fi. I can do everything else, but when I try to view the media files I lose my connection to the camera. Very frustrating. No help from go pro and less from samsung.

I unistalled the app from GoPro and installed a similar app from someone else and it works fine. I would still like to get the factory app to work so I can get the updates. So if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
