i am using htc one m8 sprint in india with gsm network its work fine on gsm only but when i turn it to umts only no data and voice,

The device is limited in radio bands it is compatible with. Because it's a Sprint model, you likely will epxerience issues trying to use it on other networks, which you appear to be having.

I would suggest replacing it with one that is compatible with your network/region.
