    Question Aggravating Group Replies

I am using the galaxy s5 active. I need help finding accurate information about how to stop other people from having a conversation on my phone after someone has included me in a group text. I understand sending a text to multiple people at once is sometimes necessary, but I really do not like having my phone alert me every 60 seconds that others have replied to the original sender and I am hostage to their conversation. It's annoying.

I also would like to know how to reply myself, but not have everyone else read my reply. That it only replies to the original sender.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is there a setting I can change or something?

    Thanks!

I don't really have an answer, but I agree about the group messaging thing. Always seems to be horrendously done, and no clear way to truly communicate. I usually delete them once I get them.
