Updated Galaxy S3 to Kit Kat 4.4.2 - asking for SD Card

Hi,

I updated my Galaxy S3 yesterday to Kit Kat 4.4.2. I'm now getting a constant message of "SD card removed. Insert a new one". I can't stop it and it never quits notifying. It has drained my battery multiple times since yesterday. I had a SD card in the phone about a year ago but removed it after about a month due to it constantly being corrupted. This phone hasn't had an SD card in it for about 10/11 months and it was fine until I upgraded.

Haven't found much on the forums with my particular situation. Most ppl have an SD Card in currently and are having issues, but I can't seem to find anyone who doesn't have any SD card to begin with and are still getting this message.

I'm going to go and buy a sd card just to see if doing that shuts this constant notification off, but i'm thinking that it's not going to help. Anybody have any ideas or have seen this?

Bought a new sd card...problem solved. Sucks that i had to do it considering how often these things become corrupt in my phone.
