Getting out

Samsung Note phone with AT&T. If I'm using the (AT&T) Internet browser it seems like the only way to guitar is to step back through my history to the Google home page. I must be overlooking a better way. What do I need to do to close down the browser? Nothing I've tried wants to work

Have you tried killing the page, and then backing out of the app?
