Verizon Ellipsis 7 user profiles not available

I want to create user profiles for this tablet because more than one person uses it. In settings under the device tab, there is no option to select "Users" where it should. The tablet is running Android 4.2.2, so the option should be there, why is it not?

I'd ask the folks at Verizon about it. The system may have been modified somewhat, and since it's a Verizon branded device, it may be hard to contact the manufacturer directly.
