moto x speaker not working

[AC Question]

My son has a Moto X about 2 weeks old and all of a sudden cant hear or be heard unless on speaker phone. Hasnt been dropped in any way, he uses it more for internet, games, fb, youtube. Could it be from something he downloaded?

Probably not. It may be a bad device. I would take it in for an exchange.
