why won't my kyocera hydro xtrm connect to aps or google play through data connection?

my Kyocera hydro xtrm will only connect to aps and google play when connected to a wifi connection. It should connect through my data. Was connecting fine earlier in the day and then just stopped. How do I fix it?

Can you access the web at all on mobile data, like on your browser, or on Facebook? If not, contact your wireless provider.
