LG L 90 - Internal memory 8 GB or 4GB

Hi,

Recently I bought LG L90 dual D410.
From web & from shop owner, I got to know that it has 8GB internal memory. But when I looked at Settings-> General-> Storage , my phone shows internal memory's Total memory is 3.87 GB. Out of this available is 2.70 GB.
When I inquired at shop keeper, he said that, 4Gb will be internally used by the system.
Is he saying truth or Am I cheated.?

Please let me know your valuable input.

He told you the truth. The OS takes roughly 4 GB.
