Galaxy s5 sview window stops working

[AC Question]

The sview flip cover with the auto wake up feature worked well when new however now it's intermittent. I have discovered that the options which should sit in settings> System >accessories disappear and there isn't any way to get them back. I finally removed and refit the cover. Worked then disappeared again. Anyone else having this issue and have figured out how to make it stay? Wondering if this expensive cover is just junk.

It might be an issue with the proximity sensor. Is there any smudges or sometimes even screen protectors throw them off.
