I have an Android Razr M cell phone that runs on the android version 4.4.2 and I recently downloaded the netflix app for the first time. The app itself has downloaded (and automatically updated) fine, it opens, I can sign in, and all the keys seem to work. The only problem is that while the streaming does work over my mobile data plan, I cannot get it to run off of my wifi. I can click on a show or movie and the screen goes into the loading screen but just keeps loading forever. When I use the data plan it loads fine, but I can't use my data to stream movies or I will go over my plan that I share with my family.
I have checked the "wifi only" selection in the settings, have checked my wifi on the phone and computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reset my phone, tried older versions of the app, cleared cashed data, and almost everything I can think of. Netflix still works on my computer and other devices, but why won't it work on my phone?
