App connection issues
So I'll start with the basics ;
Samsung galaxy S3 i9305
On network T-Mobile / EE (don't have a 4G contract only 3g)
I don't know if this first part is relevant or not but I recently went on holiday and so to avoid extra charges to my contract I spent the entirety of the 2 weeks with my phone on flight mode, I did however occasionally switch wi-fi on when in bars etc.
Anyway when I returned my connection seems to have been playing up. Certain apps will not connect to the internet through my mobile signal ie. 3G despite this however some apps do seem to still work. Facebook messenger still appears to work as does Snapchat intermittently and Google Chrome works on and off too however apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Gmail do not connect or refresh at all. The issue is though that all these apps work fine when connected to my Wi-Fi.
I have searched and searched and tried everything, I have set up new APN's, I have turned data roaming on, I've turned it off, I've put flight mode on and off, I've restarted the phone numerous times and nothing seems to be working. I have not however reset my phone as people say this does not work and I do not want to have to back up and restore everything, I am also againt having to delete every app till it works again as this could take days.
Any help would be massively appreciated as I am on the edge of a breakdown.
Thanks in advance
