help me tab wont turn onnn!!

helppp ... I went to go ape with my friend yesterday... I was on my tablet all the way there and half the way back ... on the way back it turned itself off... when I got home it wouldn't turn on ... I plugged it in and it came up with a battery thing charging and becoming orange as it charged (instead of green) I left it charging over night... got up this morning .... said it had 100% I tried to turn on ... and when u turn them on and it circles thr word Samsung witch then goez on to flash ... it waz doing this over and over again and I thought it was just taking a while to turn on ... I left it doing this and went to school ... when I got back from netball at 9:00pm It was still doing this and my tab was hott!!!! what do I do!?!?my tab is a tab 2 10.1 ... I don't understand any of this recovery mode stuff and how to do it ... and if anyone could tell me ... am I likley to loose all my pictures on my tablet :|
