Connection timed out on all android devices

[AC Question]

From the same day my brother and I (both on android phones) have been unable to access our play store whilst connected to our wifi at home, and some of our apps stopped working properly. However, when we have access to 3g or are connected to a different wifi we have no problem. Despite the problem not being specific to only my device I still tried everything that might fix it, even reset my phone. None of it worked. All other devices in the house (iphones, ipads) work as normal. Where exactly might this problem lie and how can it be fixed?
