Samsung Galaxy S5 charging port problem

[AC Question]

I have a Galaxy s5, and every time I close the charging port it feels like it isn't completely closed, even though i'm pressing very hard on it. It seems to still stick out a little. I am worried that it will not be water-resistant anymore. Any help/thoughts/suggestions?

Have you checked with other owners, or at the phone store, to see whether this is normal?
