looking to hardwire my note 2 to a larger screen and retain touch going to install in my vehicle as my head unit any thoughts

Yes, but not the ones you want to hear. You could have a larger screen made by any of the screen manufacturers and plug it in instead of the stock screen. You could give up the idea. You could run a VNC server on the Note 2 and a VNC client on a tab mounted in the dash (and a small mobile wifi access point in the car so they can talk to each other).

I think what you're looking for is a way to use a microUSB cable to connect them together, and I don't know of any app that will work like that. (MyPhoneExplorer would if the dash-mounted device ran Windows.)
