help...my storage space running out due to pictures and videos...how to move them and where to??

I have 32GB and it's almost all used because I have too many pictures and videos and also misc files but I'm not sure how to check what files are taking up 6.4GB of space.....what do I do?? Where can i move these videos and pictures and still view them later?
I can't access email because of this problem, it won't let other apps function properly.

Welcome to Android Central! What device do you have? Does it have an SD card slot? If so, the SD card would be an ideal place to move a lot of that stuff.

Otherwise, I would strongly recommend that you move all or most of those pictures/videos to your computer hard drive or upload them into a cloud service like Google+ or Dropbox. If you keep them only on your phone, you run the risk of losing them all if the phone fails for some reason.
