I have a new Droid Maxx purchased in May. When I swipe the phone on to the home page it goes off in about 2 to 5 seconds and I have to push the on button again. If I do not select and get into an app with about 2 seconds it goes off again. It also does this if I am in my list of Apps. I could not find a setting and the Verizon dealer recommended I do a factory reset. The factory reset did not solve the problem.
It did not do this at the Verizon dealer so I have determined it only does this in my home. I turned off all computers, turned off the droid bluetooth, turned off the main circuit breaker to the house, and had my wife drive away with the Comcast battery backed up modem /WIFI and battery powered radio phones.. With nothing on in the house it still did this until I get to the end of the driveway.
Anyone got and ideas or know if droids have a history of this problem?
