Hi all. I am using a Nexus 5 with Android 4.4.4 to record some videos. I was hoping to attach a mic to the headphone jack to enhance the audio, but a regular PC mic does not seem to pick up any audio. I was wondering if it is possible to use a bluetooth mic and record video at the same time. If not, maybe someone has a better suggestion. For more info, this is to record an instructional Yoga video while giving audible instructions with a wireless microhpone, and hoping that the Nexus can handle both at once.

    Thanks!

It should. Probably the best thing to do is get a bluetooth mic from a retailer with a friendly return policy in case it doesn't work. Amazon would be one place I would look.

just curious if you found a bluetooth solution. Just the other day I went to:
    the bell store,
    the source,
Future Shop/Best Buy, and even a video game store and none of them had a solution. Has anyone experienced any luck with finding a bluetooth mic to use while recording video with their Nexus 5?
