screen won't turn off during a call

I have the Galaxy S5. The last two days whenever I would make a phone call the screen stays on. This means I am pushing buttons with my face while I'm on the phone. How do I fix this?

Sounds like a problem with the proximity sensor.
Check your settings. It may have got disabled.

Or install any one of the free sensor tools available at the play store. Android Sensor Box, for example.

That will let you test the proximity sensor for proper operation.
