Exclamation Android Lock screen showing up for every two minutes once

My Nexus is acting odd for the past two days. I have a pin to unlock my screen and once I give this pin it shows all the apps. But when I try to open any app it asks for the password again with a g symbol on top. The lock screen shows up for every two minutes asking this password again and again. I haven't downloaded anything recently. Also it restarts by itself at times. Any help appreciated.

Go to Settings > Storage > Cached Data, touch it and clear the cache. If that doesn't do it, disable the lock screen, at least for the time being.

You may also consider Power Off and Restart, if you haven't done that of late.
