Samsung Galaxy wont work right after update.

[AC Question]

I updated my Samsung Galaxy s4 this morning. Everything was fine at first but then the lock screen frooze and it wouldnt let me unlock the phone. So I restarted the phone. Afterword the phone shut down but when it tried to restart the two back buttons on each side of the home button lit up but the phone wouldnt start even after waiting for 30 minutes. So i took out the battery and then put it back in and tried to start it. This time it worked but after starting the phone wouldnt lock and the screen wouldnt stop lighting up like it used to when I stopped using it. Now I took out the batrery again and put it back in without doing anything else. Right now it is charging but I still havent turned it on. What can I do so my phone starts working right again?

Follow instructions for the S3 and wipe the cache partition.
