Default Scratches on Galaxy Note 3

I got a few light scratches on my screen, and on the white part below the screen. The screen one is very light so Im not concerned about it, but the one below the screen is bugging me. If anyone has any info on how to get rid of or lighten the scratches on the screen or the White part, please help! Thank you!

Toothpaste and a soft cloth usually do the trick, unless the scratch is in too deep. You can also try car wax/polish cream, but I'd try it out FIRST on a corner where you wouldn't notice it too much in case something goes wrong. This is, after all, abrasives on glass and you can always leave a greater scratch if not careful.

Hi I just registered I was the one who asked the question, so how exactly do I apply the toothpaste, and will it work on the part that isn't on the screen too?

If the part that's not on the screen is also covered by glass, it should work. Again, as long as it's not too deep (hence, Golf's request for a picture).

If you were to polish it that way, I'd recommend a plain toothpaste (none of that whitening crystals stuff). Just a apply a small amount onto the cloth, and start rubbing away in circles by applying a bit of pressure to make sure the light abrasives on the paste penetrate and try to smooth out the scratches.
