Question Android OS takes up lots of Internal Storage?

I haven't noticed the Android OS taking up so much internal storage space before. Is this normal?

It seems like a lot because your total storage is small. But 3.5 GB is close to correct.

I believe my Nexus 5 uses about 3.5gb for OS if that helps.
