I currently have a Verizon Galaxy s4. I want to buy an old Verizon Flip Phone to get away from technology for a while. Will any old verizon phone be compatible with my Galaxy sim card, or do i need to look for a particle phone.

If your carrier was AT&T or Tmobile, yes that would work, but I don't think so with Verizon.

    This would be correct.

OP, the SIM card in your S4 is what give you the LTE data.

For flip phones, you can activate them online or over the phone or in store. Old flip phones are not activated via sim card. Some old flip phones have sim card, but that's for international use only.
