Removing system app without root? (INSIGNIA FLEX 8)

Hi,
I have an Insignia Flex 8, and an app made it into my system folder without permission. I can't find the right drivers, so I can't root my device with my current skill set. Does anyone know how I can get rid of the app?

Not sure how an app could have gotten installed to a system folder. Which app is it?
