I bought a Galaxy S4 (i9500 model) off eBay, but there's something not right about it.
FIrst off, the IMEI number as shown by *#06# doesn't match the IMEI number printed on the back of the phone, though both IMEI numbers report the phone to be a i9500 S4, so I guess I can exclude that this is a fake S4. I realise that a number mismatch is bad news.
Also, Kies does not recognise the phone when connected.
Furthermore, the firmware version is 4.2.2 and there is no over the air update available to 4.3 (would there be?).
Apart from that the phone works fine, but not being able to backup/update with Kies is a big drawback.
Would anyone have an idea what might be the deal with this phone?
