my xolo Q1010i screen went blank - by brightnwess being adjusted to zero after being updated to kitkat. so how to adjust it back!!??

Try a soft reset, and if useless, try entering Recovery Mode and wiping the system cache partition.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you root the device and install KitKat, or was this an official update? Did the screen go black right after the update? Are you sure it's a brightness setting problem, or could the screen be dead?
