LG G2 gets "Network not available" trying to connect with iMacX 10.9.4
When I try to connect with my iMacOSX 10.9.4 using Bluetooth, I get this message The Network is not available.
But Bluetooth is ON on the iMac. Yet the Bluetooth icon is gray with three dots across it.
Apple tech said there's an app to deal with this issue. Anyone know what the app is?

Re: LG G2 gets "Network not available" trying to connect with iMacX 10.9.4
Are you making the Mac discoverable (or visible or whatever Apple chose to call it)? Bluetooth devices have 4 modes, off, discoverable, paired and connected. You have to do them in order. If the Mac isn't discoverable, the phone won't find it. If it's already been paired and won't connect, evidently Apple invented yet another "Apple-only standard" non standard way of doing things (like using iMessage for texting when the whole industry uses SMS).
As B. Diddy said, "some genius". They should call it the "we'll see if we can figure it out bar".
