The Nexus devices have no carrier added "bloatware" on them.
They are what is referred to as pure vanilla Android.
Many people like it. Some don't.

Don't think any 'Prime" units are coming to the States.

Here are a couple of recent AC reviews:

    http://www.androidcentral.com/lg-g3-versus-htc-one-m8
    http://www.androidcentral.com/lg-g3-...sung-galaxy-s5

The G3 is the most recent release, hence its' inclusion in both reviews.

I have the G3, and it is awesome.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like,
and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Compared to the Iphone 4S - the Nexus 5 isnt boring. Yeah it comes with very basic software, but that's because its running pure Android, its fast, smooth and very user friendly. Plus you can download so many different apps to customise the phone including launchers - I would recommend Nova.

As for the m8 prime, it's only speculation. I don't see them releasing a premium version of the M8 - they have already released the E8. If anything they will release a follow up to the HTC Max

Some people call them boring because they don't include the things you find on the manufacturer flagships, ie. knock on/off, more expensive construction materials, 20mp cameras, waterproofing, extra music features, 4k video recording, just to name a few but there's a ton more I left out. But all of those come at a premium of an extra few hundred dollars.

Well i had to make an account to answer ;(

But i found out about that you can rom the nexus to get more features?

Am a TOTAL noob so what is a romed nexus and what is a root?

And to my surprise i just got a galaxy nexus/nexus 3 that i used cyanogenmod 11 INSTALLER on.

Witch works ok evan though it have a little crack and a TONS of scratches.

With it i can wait for the next flagship (android.) and is there comming any new flagships in 2014 besides nexus 6?

Regret selling my iphone 4S 16GB now LULZ.
