notification error with whatsapp

hello
I am using samsung galaxy core.. i got a prob few days back whatsapp notification comes with vibration even when systems vibration is off and phone is in sound mode(system notification for calls n messages are off ) and in whats app notification settings vibration set to default. itsoccuring after the update of whatsapp to 2.11.301 n further updates.. can anyone please tell how to correct it.. is it prob of my phone or application problem..

Open system settings > applications > Whatsapp and clear cache. See if that solves your problem. Also, are you able to disable vibration within the settings as opposed to choosing default?

thank u for your reply.. I tried what you said by clearing cache but its if no use.. ya I can disable vibration by setting it as off in whatsapp notification settings but if I do so whenever my mobile is in silent mode it wont vibrate as I hav set it to off thats the problem...
