Samsung Galaxy S5 Active - Internet connection issue

[AC Question]

Just bought the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active...get it home and it won't connect to my wireless router. When I try to put in password and connect, it goes through the steps of trying to connect and then it says "turned off" underneath the name of the router. The router is not turned off. It is being used by my laptop and my daughter's iphone and ipad. Everything connects to it except my phone. I hope someone has some suggestions of what to do. Thanks.
