Security of my Google account
So got an email from Google saying someone tried to access my Google account using my password in China, but I have never given my password out. Could this be a hoax or have I been compromised maybe by an app or something? I have attached images and despite it been official Google links which I haven't clicked it doesn't seem right 100% why would Google call them hijackers and not hackers? I ll still change my password but I ll just use the settings in Google for that instead of links

Re: Security of my Google account
I can't tell if these emails are valid, but it can tell you that this is the right process from google.
When I travel and log in from another country, I get these emails myself.
However, here is a suggestion. Never click on a link in these emails if you have doubts. Go on your PC and log into gmail and properly change your password.
Emails like this can be false, and incorrect links can be put in to collect your info. I never trust unsolicited emails and I never click on the links.
