Messages Frozen

[AC Question]

So i just got my galaxy s5 yesterday after having an iphone for years, so far so good.. today i went installed the smartswitch program from samsung to transfer all my stuff from iphone to galaxy. seemed pretty simple..... but now my galaxy has been updating messgaes from my old phone all day and not moving and my text messgaes keep freezing and having to shut down the app... ive tried restarting the phone which just set the update back to zero. ive force stopped the app cleared data and cache even tried a battery pull. i dont no what else to do
