Hi Guys

hope you can help. I have a movie on my galaxy s2 tablet which i would like to watch on my Samsung smarttv but i don't have any network nearby the remote. i have tried streaming it using file sharing but it shuts down each 10 minutes.

i was hoping i could use the tablet as a usb-hub and connect it to the tv using the usb cable, but when i do it doesn't not show on the tv. Am i doing something wrong or is it not possible to use the tablet as a hub for the tv?

Hello. Afaik you can connect most Android devices to a tv only using an MHL cable. The MHL would need it's power socket connected to a source so as not to drain power the other way from the tv's usb socket.
