Default Reset Google Now Launcher dialogue

I downloaded the GNL today on my stock GNex. When I first loaded the app, it asked if I wanted to load in my home screen information or start fresh. I loaded in the info, but now I'm trying to get back to that screen. I want one of my home screens in the GNL to be just the Voice Search icon, but I don't have that icon in the app drawer while using GNL. I had it carried over from my Home launcher info, but I removed it before I realized I wanted it. I've tried uninstalling and completely removing the app from My Apps, but whenever I reinstall it, it already acts based on my decision that very first time. Is there a way that I can totally reset the app to allow me to get back to that initial dialogue?

The GNL has got word detection for voice searches. There's also Google Now to the far left. That's likely why you can't add the search bar.

I know it's really redundant. I just wanted to turn off the Always Listening to save battery and use the Voice Search as a place holder so I can have an almost-empty screen.

OK, I just tested GNL on my phone. The search bar is persistent, so I'm not sure why it's not showing up for you.

I'm not trying to get the search bar widget. There's an icon, a little white circle with a red microphone, that I want to bring back. I was just trying to see if there was a way to make GNL forget all about me so we can start fresh.

Yes, you can open system settings - applications - search. Clear data. That will reset Google Now as if you just downloaded it and that icon will return.

There it is. Thank you! I had tried clearing the defaults, which didn't work. I didn't think about all the App Data.

Oh, I see now. I was reading it incorrectly. Glad you got it working though
