moto x touch less control issues

So I've only had the moto x for a short time and already having issues. When I try to use the "OK google now" feature it makes my phone crash almost 100% of the time. I loved the touch less feature, it worked great for a few weeks but now I turn it off because it also would activate randomly. And now I find my moto x crashing all together even when not using the touch less control. Any ideas??
