After a call as been dialed, how do you enter letters from the phone key pad on S4

Welcome to Android Central! You should be able to enter numbers from the dialer pad, which can correspond to letters just as on any conventional phone. Since phone landlines don't recognize letters, there isn't a way to actually input letters while on a call.
