Angry Droid Maxx: Completely Dead (Water) - Data recovery possible?

New phone, but data / images not backed up and spent 4 minutes in deep end of a pool. Completely dead. All-dead. What should I expect to pay for a hard-drive data recovery service for images, and is that even feasible with this model? (Droid Maxx, Android 4.4.4). Note this model does NOT have external SD card.

Before you do that, have you tried the normal drying-out methods for a waterlogged phone?
