Default My virgin mobile htc evo 3d 4g lte stuck in infinite reboot/restart loop

My phone has been rebooting nonstop for two days, except for the time it was completely dead. When I put it on the charge the red light does not come on notifying me that it is charging, however after having it on the charger a while I can take it off and access the hboot menu. I have tried both selecting recovery as well as factory resetting the phone through the hboot menu but nothing has happened from me selecting either one of them - once I make my selection it always resumes restarting without doing anything new. I was never able to go in to a sort of 'safe mode' with the recovery so that I could access my apps or delete anything I thought was bugged. I haven't seen my home screen in 2 days. What are my other options? I don't know what else to do.
