AC Question
Hi Guys,
Yesterday i dropped my S3 GT-i9000 and the screen started slowly dying. I could still use it but it was getting darker and darker, this morning it finally died.
The problem is the phone is locked with a pattern and when i plug the phone into the computer via USB it recognises the phone but since the phone is locked, the phone "appears" empty.
I know there are many methods to deal with this:
1: Using mysamsung (i never signed up for that, i know, stupid of me)
2: USB on the Go (screen doesn't display so it wouldn't work, right?)
3: Use ADB to pull files (USB debugging isn't enabled... yeah, regretting big time)
4: Use myphoneexplorer to control phone (one again USB debugging isn't enabled)
5: Connect via Kies (phone is locked says kies)
6: Get another S3 and plug the mother board into the working S3 (this is last resort because my friend's phones are still under warranty)
Long story short, is there a way to soft reset my phone so that it unlocks the phone but still retains my data?
Thanks in advanced guys!
