General question.
My Brazilian In-laws are in the US and are considering buying a tablet. An iPad or Samsung from Costco.
In the back of my mind, I tend to think they are regionalized in some form to assure that you only buy from the US versions of the app stores for Apple or Google Play.
I don't want them to plunk down money on a tablet if they'll never be able to get apps because they'll be using whatever tablet from a foreign IP address and using a foreign credit card.
Are my concerns valid?
