Samsung S5 will not forward email attachments

I have had this phone 3 weeks and it seems to have more quirks than any I have owned previously. One issue I am unable to figure out is that I can download and view email attachments on the phone but when I forward the email the attachment does go thru. I have changed the retrieval size to the maximum available but still cannot get the attachment to forward-help!! I have spent hours trying to figure this out and have consulted several folks more "techie" than I, but we cannot resolve the issue. I am beyond frustrated and ready to return the phone.

How about downloading the attachment, then reattaching it when you forward the email?
