Battery or Mobile problem ?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a Samsung galaxy note, i would like to know the reason that when i insert plug for charging battery or after completing charged i removed cable but still showing on above icon charging.
And when mobile is off while charging then unable to switch on after removing charger cable, unless its not connected with charger.

2 Questions: what Android version is running on your SGNote? And can you post a screenshot?

And when mobile is off while charging then unable to switch on after removing charger cable, unless its not connected with charger.

Any particular reason why your SGNote is off while charging?
