Travel adapter switching.

Is it safe to switch from original lg nexus 5 charger with specs
INPUT: 100-240V - 50/60Hz 0.2A
OUTPUT: 5.0V 1.2A
to adapter with specs :
INPUT:100-240V 50/60hz 0.4A
OUTPUT 5.0V 2.4A
Can this affect battery lifetime in any way?

I don't know about the increased input amperage, but so far as I recall every reference I've ever seen to increased output amperage says it's okay. Being naturally mistrustful I wouldn't do it myself, but it seems I'm in a minority of 1.
