Free Voice mail App for Galaxy S5 on Verizon?

I was surprised that Verizon Galaxy S5 did not have a voice mail app standard on phone. I started to use YOUMAIL as voice mail; however, before inertia sets in, I would appreciate comments on the best apps available for voicemail. Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you just trying to access your Verizon voicemail? You don't need an app for that. You should be able to dial *86 from the dialer to reach it.

I have the same issue. Verizon is attempting to monetize the voice mail app that allows the voicemails to stay on the phone and have an easy way of using voice mail. They want 2.99 a month for an app. Is there any other apps for voice mail - no, not the 2000-2010 style dial in to a 21 day queue of voice mail, but an app that has been on all recent smartphones. Verizon is nickel and diming us to death.
