Samsung Prevail won't turn on!!!

[AC Question]

I've had my Prevail for like a year. About 2 months ago it started charging slower than usual and then it stopped charging completely!! I bought a new battery for it and it's been charging for hours. Yet when I try to turn it on the screen doesn't even light up any!!! Any suggestions on what I should do????

Welcome to Android Central! Let the phone charge on a wall outlet overnight, undisturbed. Then check again.

Where did you get the new battery? Was it from a major retailer, or a discount place? It's possible that a new battery can be faulty, especially if it's from a seller of questionable repute.
